What makes the Norwegian Cruises line different from other cruises lines?

Norwegian Cruise Line is unique in that it offers “Freestyle Cruising.” This means that there are no set times or places for meals, no formal dress codes, and no fixed seating arrangements. Passengers can dine whenever and with whomever they please. There are also a wide variety of entertainment options onboard each day, as well as numerous dining options from a variety of culinary styles.

Norwegian Cruises line and Duty-free:

Passengers can shop at the ships’ boutiques and for certain items, such as jewelry and electronics, they can purchase duty-free goods. Other shopping is only available to passengers who pay extra for privileges above those included in the cruise fare, such as those in The Haven or passengers who book suites.

Norwegian Cruise Line and Casino:

Cruise ships often operate casinos which can include slot machines, blackjack tables, etc. Passengers are not allowed to gamble if they are under 21 years of age. Anyone caught will be escorted off the ship by security.

Norwegian Cruise Line and Casino’s band:

Many ships have a band that performs in either the main lounges or other public areas. Depending on the type of music each cruise line specializes in this can be anything from country music to hard rock. Both are common for NCL.
